The largest yacht in the Navetta range was first unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2018. She was a revolution in style, design and spaces, encompassing everything that makes a superyacht – seaworthiness, comfort, safety and customisation. She is a two-year collaborative effort by the Product Strategy Committee headed by Engineer Piero Ferrari, the Group’s Engineering Department, and Studio Zuccon International Project, epitomising a philosophy of superior design, sophisticated elegance and extraordinary performance. The superyacht’s colours, finishes and materials, as well as many free-standing solutions and interior finishing were chosen with Studio Luca Bombassei, who are themselves a renowned architecture and design firm. This is a testament to the endless personalisation offered under Custom Line.

At the main deck cockpit, you’ll find an electric canopy, while the electric glass door of the salon opens to an indoor living area that features a sitting area and a formal dining space for 6. Past this area for repast is a head for guests at the starboard side, while the port side is dedicated to the crew and separate from the guest area. This ensures optimum flow and thus a better experience overall for both guests and crew.

Forwards at the main deck is the exclusive owner’s suite that opens into a studio space, followed by a sitting area. Two separate toilets here give evidence to a ‘His’ and ‘Hers’ design approach, which is further accentuated by two walk-in closets located at the port-side bulwark.

At the lower deck is a large beach area, right at the water level, of around 30m². Furnishing at the area is to the owner’s wishes. A semi-floodable garage can be found too, which can house a Williams 625 transverse tender and is also equipped with a slipway launch system, which makes movement of the tender so much easier.

4 guest cabins are situated on this deck in a perfectly symmetrical layout. A king-sized bed can be found in both aft cabins, while the two forward cabins feature another king-sized bed in one, and a twin cabin in the other. These features are undoubtedly why Custom Line yachts have that ‘family feeling’ for which the brand is famous. All cabins have a spacious dressing area and en-suite bathrooms, as well as a Mirror TV. When not in use, the latter is simply another furnishing that perfectly matches the rest of the interior décor.

The upper deck is the primary entertainment area for guests. A spacious panoramic salon is furnished with the latest pieces by Minolti, while spectacular full-length windows adorn both bulwarks at the area. They also open into a quaint and private terrace on the port side, while the starboard one is connected to the forward area. A hidden television can drop from the ceiling and also be rotated 180^o, for the guests at the outdoor space to enjoy.

Every space receives the same attention to details in the Navetta 42. The upper cockpit features four glass surfaces that can be opened up for more spatial continuity in the area. What’s more, here is a 10-person dining table, and finally, far aft is a couch that can be opened to the elements, or shielded via awnings.

We’ll end with an exploration of the sundeck. All beach-style couches and seating elements here come from Roda’s latest collection. The brand is also behind any free-standing furniture on the exterior of the yacht. A casual dining space can be found, so too a bar unit, and a table for further utility. Forwards, a pool area completes this exceptional sundeck.

The Custom Line Navetta 42 is simply said, magnificent. Every surface is meticulously designed, as seen in the lacquered finish of the ceilings.
